The European clubs have not allowed their players to join Team Melli for the 2022 Asian Games.
Team Melli are drawn in Group A along with Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
Group B consists of China, Mongolia, Lebanon, and Chinese Taipei.
Jordan, the Philippines, Bahrain, and Thailand are in Group C, and Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, and Qatar are drawn in Group D.
The 19th Asian Games are scheduled to be held from Sept. 23 to Oct. 8 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
